  Siddha Yoga Meditation Shaktipat Intensives

Deep within every human heart there is a longing to know one’s own true nature – to recognize and unite with the divine power dormant within. The awakening of this power is called Shaktipat or spiritual initiation.

Gurumayi Chidvilasananda is a spiritual teacher and Siddha Yoga meditation master in the ancient yogic tradition of India. Through her sankalpa Gurumayi makes Shaktipat available in the Siddha Yoga Shaktipat Intensive:

Experience the POWER of
Your Own Steady Effort in Sadhana

How will you open yourself to the endless gifts of Shaktipat and the Guru’s teachings and recognize the wonder of your own soul?

Offered in three locations, each one-day Intensive will focus on Gurumayi’s teachings from the Siddha Yoga Message “Experience the POWER within. Kundalini Shakti” and will be led by Siddha Yoga meditation teacher Swami Vasudevananda .

Each Intensive will be followed by a Siddha Yoga meditation retreat.

Intensive preparation:
Throughout time, students have made great efforts to prepare themselves to receive spiritual guidance, initiation, and grace. To prepare for this Intensive:

Listen to the Siddha Yoga Message, “Experience the POWER within. Kundalini Shakti”as often as possible. Pay particular attention to CD 1, track 8 or DVD chapter 9.
Identify at least one statement or phrase in this portion of the Message that intrigues and/or inspires you.
Reflect on these words of Gurumayi and consider how they might apply to your own spiritual journey.
Begin a journal where you can record your insights and experiences and bring it to the Intensive.
For those who have an established practice of meditation, meditate each day leading up to the Intensive. After each meditation period, take a few minutes to accurately describe your experience of meditation in your journal.
For those whose initiation into the practice of Siddha Yoga meditation will be the Intensive, you can prepare yourself by finding some time each day leading up to the Intensive to sit quietly and allow your awareness to follow the natural flow of your breath as it comes in and goes out. Afterwards, take some time to describe your experience in a journal.
